On June 23, 2026, the deliberation for the University of Mindanao’s 80th Founding Anniversary Awards was conducted with the participation of University executives.
The meeting was attended by Gloria E. Detoya, Edgardo O. Castillo, Eugenio S. Guhao, Carmencita E. Vidamo, Michelle Y. Acledan, Melvin Manayon, Marianne P. Afrondoza, Pedrito Castillo, Reynaldo Castro, and Rochelle Asuncion.
The Human Resource Management Department (HRMD) presented the nominees for the various award categories. The deliberation covered the selection of awardees for Outstanding Teacher (Main and Branches), Model Employee (Main and Branches), the Vinta Award, and the Golden Harvest Award.
The activity forms part of the University’s recognition program in celebration of its 80th Founding Anniversary, honoring individuals who have demonstrated excellence and significant contributions to the institution.
