June 26, 2026, the University of Mindanao community collectively wore the special
edition black polo shirt as part of the 80th Founding Anniversary celebration. Academic
personnel, administrative and academic support proudly donned the black polo,
marking the beginning of a shared tradition that will continue every Wednesday
throughout the anniversary year.
More than
a commemorative garment, the UM80 black polo symbolizes the University's
enduring legacy. As the University celebrates eight decades of excellence and
transformative education, the weekly observance serves as a visible reminder of
the institution's rich legacy and the commitment of its people to advance its
mission of providing quality education and service.
