Kurt Sidric Resus, CAE-CSG President, said that the event aligns well with the initiatives of the College Student Government (CSG) as it promotes community extension and active participation among students. ‎ ‎

“The discussions and shared research gave useful insights that we can apply in our academic work and future projects and it gave us new ideas on how we can improve our own outreach programs” he added. ‎ ‎

Resus further noted that they intend to build on these insights by refining and strengthening their ongoing community extension initiatives. ‎

‎“I also want to try new ideas and encourage more students to join and take part in volunteer work. In this way, we can make our activities more meaningful and beneficial to the community,” he stressed. ‎ ‎

Meanwhile, key speakers from iVolunteer and World Vision underscored the importance of volunteerism and shared insights from their involvement in community service. ‎ ‎

The congress served as a platform for collaboration, emphasizing the connection between academic institutions and the communities they serve. ‎

The 3rd Community Extension Congress aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, where the event focused on community need. Student leaders, educators, and organizations like iVolunteer and World Vision collaborate in addressing community needs.
