Demonstrating their continued commitment to student welfare and academic success, the alumni of the College of Accounting Education (CAE) sponsored the CAE Lugawan Project on May 16 and 23, 2026, providing free bowls of lugaw (rice porridge) to students as they prepared for and completed their final examinations.
The initiative was organized to offer nourishment, encouragement, and a sense of community during one of the most demanding periods of the academic semester. Hundreds of accounting students benefited from the project, which served freshly prepared lugaw to help ease the stress and fatigue often associated with examination week.
