UM Strengthens Global Presence at the Frankfurt Buchmesse Fair



The University of Mindanao proudly represented the Philippines at the Frankfurt Buchmesse Fair (FBF) in Frankfurt, Germany, held from October 14–17, 2025, the world’s largest gathering of authors, researchers, and educators.
Dr. Ronnie V. Amorado, UM’s Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, presented the university’s research and book “Pedagogy of Fraud: Online Cheating Practices in Online Classes” and shared insights on Artificial Intelligence in Philippine Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs).
UM also held benchmarking meetings with the German Accreditation Council and the German HEI Rectors’ Association, fostering international partnerships and collaborative opportunities in research, micro-credentialing, and academic exchange.
UM continues to expand its global reach—advancing knowledge, innovation, and international collaboration in higher education.
