UM BSTM Student Earns Top Honor in Regional Youth Tour Guiding Program 2025
The University of Mindanao's very own Juliana Marie G. Laguitao, a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) senior student ranked as the Top 2 Best Tour Guide after completing the 30-day Regional Youth Tour Guiding (RTG) Program 2025 last December 14, 2025.
The RTG 2025 held its graduation ceremony at the Paramount Coffee and Restaurant in Davao Crocodile Park grounds, and is regarded as a rigorous capacity-building program for aspiring tour guides in the Davao Region, sponsored by the Department of Tourism, Region XI (DOT XI), and the Commission on Higher Education, Region XI (CHED XI).
UM-CHE warmly congratulates Ms. Laguitao on this notable achievement, which reflects the University’s core values of excellence and leadership.
