UM produces topnotcher in Chemical Technician licensure exam
The University of Mindanao through Edward Jan Bacalso joined top examinees across the country in the recent October 2019 Chemical Technician licensure examination as he placed in the tenth spot with a rating of 88.50.
His accomplishment along with those who passed coming from UM enabled the university to post a passing rate of 96.15% for first time takers compared to the national passing rate of 83.46% according to the Professional Regulation Commission.
He is the first topnotcher in the Chemical Technician licensure exam from the BS in Chemical Engineering program and among the three topnotchers coming from Davao city; and joins the 2, 298 newly licensed Chemical Technicians across the country out the more than 2, 800 who registered for the examinations given in the cities of Manila, Cagayan de Oro, and Cebu.
