Demonstrating its commitment to environmental stewardship and community service, the College of Accounting Education (CAE) Student Government, together with its accredited student organizations, successfully conducted a Community Outreach Program on May 13, 2026, at Mt. Apo Science Foundation College Inc. in Toril, Davao City. Centered on the theme, "Tree Weeding and Environmental Conservation Towards a Cleaner and Greener Future," the activity brought together student leaders and volunteers in a collective effort to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices. The outreach program aimed to contribute to environmental preservation through tree weeding, maintenance, and conservation activities while encouraging students to take an active role in protecting natural resources. Participants worked together to support initiatives that promote a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment. Through this initiative, CAE emphasized that meaningful change begins with simple actions and collective responsibility. The successful implementation of the outreach program reflected the college's commitment not only to academic excellence but also to fostering social responsibility and environmental sustainability. By organizing initiatives such as this, the College of Accounting Education continues to inspire students to become responsible citizens who lead with service, act with purpose, and contribute to building a cleaner and greener future for all. The activity also aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13: Climate Action and SDG 15: Life on Land, by promoting environmental conservation, biodiversity protection, and collective action toward ecological sustainability. โ๏ธ Kristine Mae Cadalzo ๐ป Charles Emyrrhson Tabac
