For the first time, the University of Mindanao System debuts in the prestigious World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2026, earning recognition among the Top 100 in Twenty-Four Categories and marking a historic milestone in its pursuit of excellence, innovation, and social impact.
WURI evaluates universities around the world based on their contributions to industry and society through innovation in education, research, and community engagement across 24 global categories.
The UM System proudly recorded rankings across 9 categories in the 2026 assessment, reflecting its commitment to transformative, future-ready, and globally competitive education.
