UM MedTech grads
The University of Mindanao's recent batch of examinees in the Medical Technologist licensure exam for March 2026 brought prestige as they were able to collectively score passing rates higher than the national average.
With a passing rate of 96.15% for first time takers, and an overall passing rate of 93.10%, the UMian examinees posted results significantly higher than the 84.13% national passing rate.
This comes in the stead of the results as well for the Nurse Licensure Exam, where UM also posted significantly higher passing results than the national average and produced the Top 2 examinee, Mr. Moises Alan Mahinay.
The Medical Technologist licensure exam saw 7,838 passers out of 9,317 who registered, according to the Professional Regulation Commission website.
The exam was given by the Board of Medical Technology in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
