It's Game Time!
On May 15, 2026, employees from the Main Campus and Branches gathered excitedly for the opening of the 2026 UM Sportsfest. The participants gathered together at the UM Oval and proceeded with the parade to the PS Lobby.
The highlights of the program included Dr. Guillermo P. Torres Jr.’s opening and inspirational message, highlighting the significance of unity and sportsmanship. This was subsequently followed by Dr. Edgardo O. Castillo’s lighting of the torch, and Dr. Ronnie V. Amorado’s oath of sportsmanship.
Following the opening program, the activities transitioned to the official start of the sports competitions, adding to the participants’ anticipation. The whole campus was filled with enthusiasm, as players prepared not only to compete and win, but also to celebrate eight decades of UM’S spirit within.
