Core Values at Work
The College of Computing Education (CCE) of The University of Mindanao conducted its “Empowering Growth Through Core Values” Workshop on May 19, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the CCE Review Room, GET Bldg., UM Matina Campus. The activity aims to strengthen and promote the University’s core values among all CCE faculty members in support of continuous excellence in management.
Thirty three participants actively engaged in the activity moderated by guest facilitator, Engr. Devorah Agustin Gundaya. The workshop aligns with Key Result Area (KRA) 1 – Excellence in Governance and Management, particularly KPI 1.3.3, which focuses on sustaining initiatives that promote core values within the institution. Particularly, the workshop reinforced the importance of applying the University’s core values as guide in delivering quality education and professional development.
Through initiatives such as this workshop, UM continues to uphold its mission of developing globally engaged professionals equipped with competence and a strong sense of purpose.
