Accountancy Competency Appraisal Conducts 1st Pulong-Pulong via Zoom
The Accountancy Program successfully conducted “Pulong-Pulong: CPA – Certified Public Achievers”, an inspiring online gathering designed for students undergoing Competency Appraisal and Audit Problem courses. Held via Zoom, the event brought together aspiring CPAs and distinguished recent CPALE topnotchers - Mr. Alex Olanolan (Top 8, May 2024 CPALE), Mr. Jasper Enumerables (Top 8, May 2025 CPALE) and Ms. Rica Mae Marbebe (Top 5, May 2025 CPALE) who generously shared their journeys, strategies, and lessons learned in conquering the board examination.
The session provided a meaningful platform for students to gain practical insights on effective review techniques, time management, and exam-day strategies, while also emphasizing the importance of discipline, resilience, and the right mindset. Through open discussions and engaging exchanges, participants were given the opportunity to reflect on their own preparation and strengthen their commitment toward achieving success in the CPA Licensure Examination.
More than just a learning session, the Pulong-Pulong served as a source of motivation and reassurance, reminding students that behind every success story is a process filled with challenges, perseverance, and growth. The experiences shared by the speakers not only informed but also inspired participants to continue striving despite difficulties.
The Accountancy Program extends its heartfelt gratitude to the guest speakers and all participants who made this event meaningful and impactful. Indeed, this initiative reinforces the program’s commitment to developing competent, resilient, and future-ready Certified Public Accountants.
