NEMSU-Cantilan Benchmarking Visit at UM - CCJE
On December 5, 2025, the University of Mindanao–Matina Campus welcomed 11 faculty members from the North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU)–Cantilan for a benchmarking activity held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The delegation was officially received by Dean Carmelita B. Chavez, who expressed her support for strengthening academic collaboration and sharing best practices between institutions.
As part of the visit, the NEMSU faculty toured the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) facilities, where they examined various laboratory equipment and instructional resources used in the program. The tour was facilitated by Laboratory Custodian Carmina Beatriz Deocampo and Assistant Laboratory Custodian Dianne Chlaire Duron, who provided detailed explanations of the equipment, laboratory protocols, and instructional applications. The benchmarking activity provided an opportunity for both universities to exchange insights, enhance program delivery, and explore potential areas for future collaboration.
