CAE interns give back to nature

CAE interns give back to nature

Students enrolled in the internship program of the College of Accounting Education (CAE) conducted two community extension activities last February 8 and April 12, 2025; benefiting the communities in Bayabas, Toril and in Tambungon, Lasang respectively; through their tree-planting and coastal cleanup projects.

The interns successfully demonstrated their bond, teamwork, and dedication to achieve their common goal; and the community extension projects were with the full support of CAE Dean Lord Eddie I. Aguilar, Assistant Dean Dr. Devzon U. Porras, Research Coordinator Dr. William T. Sucuahi, Internship Coordinator Myra T. Miraflores, Community Extension Coordinator Neth Angelie M. Claros, and the UM Community Extension Center. The success of the activity is also credited to the support of the CAE faculty: Mark Glenn Parpan, Edelyn Tropico, Leogen Nalasa, and Paul Jason Yu; and those from the Internal Audit Office: Jette Domingo, Sheryl Agohob, and Angena San Pablo.
