UM OFFICIALS IN INDONESIA FOR WEEK-LONG ENGAGEMENT WITH PARTNER UNIVERSITY

The University President, Dr. Guillermo P. Torres, Jr.. and 3 UM senior officials are currently in Indonesia for a series of engagements with Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya, one of UM’s long-time partner universities.
Dr. Torres is joined by Chief Administrative Officer Dr. Edgardo Castillo, SVP for Academic Affairs Dr. Ronnie Amorado, and VP for External Relations and International Affairs Office Dr. Reynaldo Castro on this business trip.
The 4 UM officials are guests at UBJ’s graduation ceremony held today, where Pres. Torres delivered a graduation message. Meanwhile, Dr. Amorado and Dr. Castro will conduct lectures on artificial intelligence (AI) and sustainable economic strategies tomorrow.
Last April 17 of this year, UBJ's Rector Bambang Karsono was awarded the honorary degree in Doctor of Philosophy in Criminal Justice (with specialization in Criminology) during the 44th mid-year commencement exercises in UM.
