UM represented at AIMS Program Annual Review Meeting in Japan

VP for UM External Relations and International Affairs Office, Dr. Reynaldo C. Castro, is currently in Hiroshima, Japan for the 18th Annual Review Meeting of the Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) Programme.
Hosted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Japan, Hiroshima University and SEAMEO RIHED, the review meeting bears the theme "Reimagining Mobility for Peace and Sustainability" and convenes AIMS-member schools from Southeast Asia, Japan and Korea to strengthen academic collaboration and discuss how AIMS can contribute to peace and sustainable development for the region.
Joining the #teamPH delegation are the representatives from UM, University of the Philippines, University of Santo Tomas, De La Salle University, Ateneo De Manila University, Mapua University, Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas, Batangas State University, Saint Louis University Baguio, Central Luzon State University, Central Bicol State University, University of St. La Salle Bacolod, Central Mindanao University and the CHED International Affairs Services.
The AIMS Annual Review Meeting starts today until tomorrow, where program of activities include AIMS member countries roundtable discussion, parallel sessions and networking session.
Last year, Philippines was the host country of the 17th AIMS Review Meeting, which was held in Tagaytay City.
Since 2014, UM has been actively sending outbound students to partner schools in Southeast Asia to participate in AIMS exchange program under the Engineering and International Business disciplines.
