UM produces national placer in Chemical Engineering licensure test
The College of Engineering Education saw a triumphant return to the topnotchers roster with a 4th placer in the Chemical Engineer Licensure examination.
Congratulations are in order for Allen Louis Tan Orot with a grade of 87.30, who is the sole placer for the fourth spot for the said exam. The CEE alumni who took this year's exam also produced an 81.82 passing percentage of first time takers against the 70.23% national average passing rate.
Mr. Orot, along with other topnotchers from the different schools across the country, are among the 651 successful examinees out of the 927 who registered for the licensure exam.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission, the Board of Chemical Engineering in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, and Rosales this month.
