University of Mindanao inks partnership with Japanese company for student internship
The University of Mindanao has signed an exclusive partnership with a Japanese company that would accept student interns under the Civil Engineering and Tourism Management programs.
This partnership aims to expose students to international work setting and hone students' competency in the fields of engineering and hospitality management, where they are at an advantage to apply for employment in the future.
The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement held last Sept. 17 was attended by Dr. Eugenio S. Guhao, Jr., Chief Academic Officer; Dean Charlito Canesares and Prof. Cresencio Genobiagon of the College of Engineering Education; Asst. Dean. Florence Kristina Jimenez and Prof. Liwliwa Lagman of the College of Hospitality Education; and Ms. Teruko Sato and Junichi Toyoda, Owner and Vice President of Meiho Tatemondo Co. LTD, respectively.
