Remembering Dr. Dolores "Loleng" P. Torres
Remembering the beloved Dolores P. Torres, UM President from 1989 -2007, on her 100th Birthday.
For 18 years under her helm, UM grew not only in numbers, but also in its academic reputation as it started to embark on quality assurance measures through accreditation and application for centers of excellence and centers of development.
The sprawling Matina-Maa campus was also acquired during Madam Loleng’s leadership as the University President.
The UM community will always cherish and remember your legacy.
