UM and UBJ in Indonesia renew MOU for another 5 years
UM and Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya (UBJ) in Indonesia renewed their partnership through its online ceremonial MOU signing held earlier today, January 20, 2021.
This renewal of academic partnership, which will be effective from 2021-2026, aims to foster academic cooperation and international collaboration under a bilateral Mutual Recognition Initiative (MRI).
Among the possible collaborations between the two universities include faculty/staff fellowship exchange, student exchange, joint international conferences, joint international research and publication, joint curriculum development, and sharing of experiences of Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRAs) and quality assurance.
UM President Dr. Guillermo P. Torres, Jr. and UBJ Rector Dr. Drs. Bambang Karsono led the signing of the agreements. Meanwhile, UM’s Dr. Ronnie Amorado, SVP of Academic and Planning Services, and Dr. Reynaldo Castro, VP ERIAO; and UBJ’s Vice Rector for Academics, Dr. Prof. Tatang Ary Gumanty and Vice Rector for Cooperation, Dr. Diah Ayu Permatasari, also graced the program with their messages.
In attendance as well were the delegates of UM and UBJ which are composed of Deans, Asst. Deans and representatives from CCJE, CHE, CTE, CBAE and CASE.
