UM WELCOMES DELEGATES FROM INDONESIAN PARTNER SCHOOL FOR COURTESY MEETING
The University of Mindanao warmly welcomed the delegation from Islamic University of Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari, Banjarmasin (UNISKA), Indonesia during their courtesy visit to the Matina campus.
This visit provided a meaningful opportunity to strengthen institutional ties and deepen mutual understanding between the two universities. UNISKA is a partner institution of UM Tagum College, and the delegates are currently visiting to deliver lectures and conduct community service programs.
The guests were welcomed by UM officials, headed by UM President, Dr. Guillermo P. Torres, Jr., and Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Eugenio S. Guhao, Jr.
UMTC Branch Director Dr. Evelyn Saludes and Dean of the College, Dr. Gina Israel, along with two other UMTC personnel, accompanied the 7 department heads from UNISKA to the Matina campus.
The engagement highlighted our shared commitment to academic collaboration, faculty and student mobility, and cross-cultural exchange. Through dialogue and knowledge sharing, both institutions explored ways to expand cooperation in teaching, research, and international programs that benefit our academic communities.
