Today, we honor the legacy of a visionary leader, lawyer, and educator as June 16 marks the birth anniversary of UM's founder, Atty. Guillermo E. Torres Sr.
Spearheading the vision for Mindanao's youth to have access to tertiary level education in 1946, the legacy of Atty. Torres Sr. is evident in today's University of Mindanao; where people from all over the Philippines enroll for quality, affordable, and open education.
But more than his accolades, we also celebrate his legacy as a father, and wish our dear founder a Happy Father's Day as well!
