UM sees off two ERASMUS trainees to Europe

Two UM faculty members were off to Daugavpils University in Latvia, Europe last May 12 to attend the International ERASMUS + Staff Week training to utilize AI in teaching, as the only representatives coming from the Philippines.

Dr. Conrado Jr. P. Panerio, Institute of Social Welfare and Human Development Research Director, and Engr. Randy E. Angelia, Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering Education, will join the 38 other staff participants from 14 HEIs in 12 countries in this one-week training hosted by Daugavpils University.

During their stay in Daugavpils, the participants will be immersed in an Interactive workshop on “Creating AI-Powered Micro-Teaching Content, explore the campus and city through guided tours, and network with fellow participants in arranged meetings and lectures.
