Top management with President Torres Jr meets with Japanese hotel network for partnership exploration
JUST IN: Top-level delegation from the University in Mindanao met and discussed with the top-level executives of the Seibu Group of Companies running the Seibu Group of Hotels Worldwide at Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo, Japan from Jan. 21-26, 2024.
Leading the university is President/CEO Dr. Guillermo P. Torres Jr. and for the Seibu group, Mr. Atsushi Omori. The meeting aims to bolster the international internship and employment opportunities of UM students in the field of hospitality management and engineering.
The Japan trip likewise allows UM officials to visit UM students deployed in various Seibu hotels in Japan for their OJT.
