DOST-PCIEERD Conducts Project Monitoring on StabiLign and Pa2CEcLAB
On 26 January 2026, Engr. Christian Alec Managa and Engr. Camille Joyce Matamorosa conducted a project monitoring activity for two DOST Grant-in-Aid (GIA)–funded projects: StabiLign and Pa²CEcLAB.
The project teams presented their technical and financial accomplishments covering the current implementation period. StabiLign, now in Year 2, focuses on developing a sustainable lignin-based soil stabilizer from waste wood and recycled concrete for pavement applications. Meanwhile, Pa²CEcLAB, currently in its first year, evaluates agricultural residues as alternatives for ceramic and engineered nanocomposites, with emphasis on their acoustical and thermal properties.
Both projects are implemented under the Center of Green Nanotechnology Innovations for Environmental Solutions. StabiLign is led by Engr. Roumel Salvador Alvarez, while Pa²CEcLAB is headed by Engr. Danny Mar Naipa.
