UM inks partnership with Cebu Institute Technology University; eyes joint forays into engineering partnerships and robotics
As part of expanding the educational opportunities of its students and faculty, the University of Mindanao recently entered into a memorandum of agreement with Cebu Institute Technology University (CIT-U) early in May coinciding with CIT-U’s benchmarking visit.
With no less than UM President Dr. Guillermo P. Torres Jr. facilitating the signing of the partnership with CIT-U President Engr. Bernard Nicolas E. Villamor and their senior school officials, the MOA between the two universities is seen to expand the engineering courses of both institutions; with a vision towards development in robotics.
Apart from these two fields, UM and CIT-U share the same steadfast commitment of promoting student and faculty development, resource and information sharing, and research and collaboration; among others.
