About the Program
The Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication program equips students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in the concepts and theories of mass communication and media. Its objective is to produce competent, independent, and sophisticated individuals capable of navigating global network business, marketing, publishing, sales, service, and multimedia. The curriculum covers concepts and practices of communication across various mediums, including Print, Broadcast, Electronic, and the Performing Arts.
Program Educational Objectives
Three to five years after graduation, the graduates are expected to:
- Demonstrate competency in applying theories, models, principles, communication management, and leadership skills adhering to the ethical standards and practices in the communication profession.
- Produce research-based communication materials in different formats and platforms (print, broadcast, and online).
Student Outcomes
By the time of graduation, the students of the program shall have the ability to:
- Define and access information needs; assess and organize information and knowledge; produce, share and utilize information and knowledge
