First batch of relief goods arrive to Makilala and Bansalan towns
Donations from the university arrived in Makilala, Cotabato Province and Bansalan in Davao del Sur on Tuesday, Nov. 5 through the mobilization efforts of the university's Community Extension Office.
Included in the first batch were materials for temporary shelter, beddings, and some consumable goods. The university was met by representatives from the local government in each town and the donation appropriately endorsed.
According to Vice President for Community Extension Sitti L. Apadan, the university is eyeing to deliver more goods in the coming weeks for other earthquake-stricken areas as donations pour in from students, employees, and other school stakeholders.
