Dr. Chosel Lawagon is country's representative in ASEAN-US Science Prize for Women
Recognizing her inspiring journey, groundbreaking research, and various impactful contributions to science and research in the country, the University of Mindanao's very own Dr. Chosel Lawagon is the proud representative to the 2024 UL Research Institutes - ASEAN-US Science Prize for Women in Climate Resilience and Adaptation.
This prize, which is a collaboration of the United States government, Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and the UL Research Institutes, emphasizes the role of female scientists who have used their work to improve sustainability in society and serve as role models for those intending to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
