University of Mindanao Soars in Webometrics July 2024 Rankings
The University of Mindanao has ascended to the 45th position among 364 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Philippines, according to the Webometrics July 2024 ranking. Internationally, UM has achieved a global ranking of 6361, with an Impact ranking of 12777, an Openness ranking of 5367, and an Excellence ranking of 6313. This notable advancement from the 50th spot last year highlights UM's ongoing commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
The Webometrics Ranking, established in 2004, is the largest academic ranking, evaluating 32,000 HEIs from over 200 countries. It provides reliable, comprehensive data on university performance every six months, focusing on web presence, top-cited researchers, and research excellence.
