UM inks MOA with Chaoyang University of Technology
UM President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Guillermo P. Torres Jr. sat down with representatives from Chaoyang University of Technology from Taichung, Taiwan last Oct. 9 and signed a Memorandum of Agreement for collaborative partnership between the two institutions.
Chaoyang University holds the distinction of being Taiwan’s fastest-rising school, earning the University of Technology status from the Chinese Ministry of Education only three years into its operation, and according to their official website, is a record that has yet been beaten. Chaoyang University Vice President Dr. Wen-Goang Yang represented the school in the MOA signing.
These various institutions having trust and confidence in UM’s programs, quality assurance policies, and student development are evidence that its strides in creating linkages here and abroad have been well received, and are a testament to UM’s dynamic quality education that crosses borders and transcends cultures in a bid to make learning accessible to all.
