Dr. Torres is awarded the Juran Medal 2022
AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS 2022 | Congratulations to UM President and CEO, Dr. Guillermo P. Torres Jr on his win of the Juran Medal 2022 awarded by the Philippine Society for Quality, Inc.
Dr. Torres will receive his conferment today via online. He is noted as the first winner from an academic institution in Mindanao, and is the only Juran Medal recipient this year since it was last awarded in 2017.
The Juran Medal is a prestigious recognition from the Philippine Society for Quality Inc. which recognizes Senior Executives in the country from different industries that have significant contributions to quality management practices and policies.
The Philippine Society for Quality, Inc. (PSQ) is a non-stock, non-profit organization established in May 17, 1969 in cooperation with the Productivity Development Center and 64 Charter members (representatives of different companies and individuals). The Group laid down the groundwork for setting up a quality organization that can serve as a catalyst for action in the application of quality management.
