CHED conducts assessment visit to UM
Having its first visitor since the start of on-site operations, the University of Mindanao welcomed visitors from the national office of the Commission on Higher Education.
UM President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Guillermo P. Torres Jr. met with CHED Executive Director Atty. Cinderella Filipina S. Benitez-Jaro, together with CHED Sports Project Lead Coach Ana Dulce Yango, and CHED Regional Director Dir. Maricar R. Casquejo, to assess the readiness of the higher education institution to the return to collegiate sports activities, athletic training and competitions.
Present as well at the meeting were UM Chief Operating Officer Gloria E. Detoya, Chief Information Officer Edgardo O. Castillo, Chief Academic Officer Eugene Guhao, Senior Vice President Ronnie Amorado, UM Compliance Officer Paolo D. Torres, and UM's Sports Development Officer David Dwight Penano.
