Former UM Dean is new Chief Presidential Legal Counsel
The administration of President Rodrigo R. Duterte appointed former dean of the College of Legal Education (CLE), Atty. Jesus Melchor V. Quitain as the new Chief Presidential Legal Counsel.
Atty. Quitain, also a member of the University of Mindanao Board of Trustees, has held the deanship of the CLE up until his appointment as Special Assistant to Pres. Duterte is 2016. He has also previously served as City Administrator, and as a city councilor for multiple non-consecutive terms.
