UM entry to Innovation Olympics bags regional spot
UMasenso Hub proudly congratulates Alipugpug Tech Solutions for winning the Innovation Olympics’ Regional Wild Card Pitching Day last Saturday, March 20, 2021, with Project Angat: Artificial Systemized Farming Utilizing Vertical Farming Method Integrating BlockChain Marketing.
Their project aims to use technology to create a "healthy market system" for farmers that will use an affordable and user-friendly digital platform to manage a sustainable farming system using a vertical farming system with bamboo.
As one of the Top 6 Grand Finalists, Alipugpug Tech Solutions will receive Php 100,000 seed money for the third stage of the competition - Project Implementation - and will get the chance to compete in the National Demo Day, where they can win Php 200,000.
Team Alipugpug Tech Solutions is composed of students from the colleges of Business Administration Education, Engineering Education, Computing Education, and Arts and Sciences Education.
