Research and Publication Center

There is a system for sustaining research in the University. The UM Research and Publication Center is responsible for the overall supervision of the implementation of the institution's research program. It is also primarily charged with the responsibility of conducting surveys and researches relative to the schoool's plans, projects, development and for other purposes directed at the well-being of the University and the public. It is manned by qualified and competent personnel with well-defined functions.

The Center has the following specific objectives:

A. To lay a working environment conducive to research by ensuring the provision of good facilities, technical and professional assistance and administrative support;
B. To assist researcherss in updating their knowledge and expertise through relevant trainings, fora, seminars, and workshops;
C. To assist and encourage the generation of research projects;
D. To monitor and supervise on-going research projects;
E. To identify and secure funds from government and non-governmental sources to support research activities;
F. To disseminate research outputs through publication and fora; and
G. To establish and develop a data bank center for development studies.
