Re-admission and Denial

The University of Mindanao has the right to impose other rules and regulations for the admission of students aside from the entrance examinations.

In some degrees and programs, particularly in the tertiary level, the admission of students is not only subject to the University standards, requirements and regulations, but also to the requisites imposed by law.

The University has a right to determine which applicants will be accepted for enrollment. It has a right to judge the fitness of students seeking admission and re-admission. A students failure to satisfy the academic standards set by the University shall be a legal ground for the refusal of the same to readmit him.

Apart from the academic deficiency, the violation of school rules is another ground for denying a students re-admission including his right to stay in school until he graduates.

The closure of a program of study, or the closure of the school itself would justify students denial for re-admission. Failure to meet financial obligation to the University, disease or illness which is prejudicial to the health of the student or the health of other students, are also valid grounds to deny a student re-admission to the University.
