UMians recognized as Outstanding Human Resource Leaders in National HREAP Awards
The University of Mindanao proudly celebrates a remarkable achievement as Mr. Christian Karl Tagoc, a BSBA Human Resource Management graduate, has been honored as one of the Outstanding Human Resource Students of the Philippines (TOHRS) for 2022 by the Human Resource Educators Association of the Philippines, Inc. (HREAP). Known for its nationwide search, HREAP recognizes exceptional human resource students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and dedication to the HR field. The awarding ceremony took place on October 25, 2024, at F1 Hotel, Bonifacio Global City, formally recognizing Mr. Tagoc’s accomplishments and potential in HR management. Mr. Tagoc was joined by Mr. Ramonchito M. Nalangan, Program Head for BSBA Human Resource Management, further underscoring UM’s commitment to cultivating top-tier HR professionals.
Alongside Mr. Tagoc is Ms. Angelie L. Otom, a distinguished graduate from UM Tagum, who was also recognized for her exemplary contributions to HR studies. Ms. Otom’s achievements, combined with Mr. Tagoc’s, highlight the University of Mindanao’s role in producing graduates who embody the principles and competencies of the HR field. Their recognitions serve as a testament to the quality of UM’s academic programs and its consistent dedication to excellence in human resource education.
