UM sends off CEE student for AIMS scholarship to world-class Thai university

Proudly representing the College of Engineering Education, outbound exchange student John Walter Penoy travels to Bangkok today for his semester at the King Mongkut’s University of Technology, Thonburi (KMUTT), under the Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) program.

For this year, John Walter will spend the semester experiencing KMUTT’s world-class facilities, learning alongside Thai and international students, and immersing himself in a new culture that will broaden his perspective both as a student and as a future engineer.

This exchange program is part of the University of Mindanao’s commitment to providing transformative opportunities that enhance students’ global competitiveness.

We wish you the best of luck on this exciting chapter, John Walter! May this experience inspire you to dream bigger and share your learnings with your peers once you return home.
