BS in Mathematics

The BS in Mathematics program of the University of Mindanao is a balance between a holistic general education program and a substantial mathematics curriculum.

The program aims to provide the students with a curriculum that represents the breadth and depth of mathematics, from classical to contemporary, from theoretical to applied. The curriculum shall enhance the student’s mathematical and critical thinking skills, and develop in the students a greater appreciation and understanding of the importance of mathematics in history and in the modern world.

Graduates of BS in Mathematics often obtain jobs in education, statistics, actuarial science, operations research, finance, and information technology.
