Board of Trustees

A well structured leadership and governance of the University has put in place policies, procedures, and mechanisms that promote excellent teaching and successful learning. UM's system of governance clearly defined the roles of institutional constituencies in policy development and decision making. The Board of Trustees, the university's governing board has exercised with sufficient autonomy to uphold UM's integrity and public trust and to fulfill its responsibilities of policy resource development, consistent with its mission statement.

Further, the university has promoted open community that sustains good working relations and healthy institutional morale. Continuing and systematic efforts are maintained to ensure essential flow of information to and from individuals concerned with the institution's welfare.
