UMians top the June 2018 Criminologist Licensure Examination

In the last three years, the University of Mindanao has aced the Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE), with the latest achievement being its alumni earning the top two spots for the June 2018 CLE.

Hana Jane Baritogo Franco from the Digos branch topped the CLE with a rating of 90.90%, with Michelle Langamon from the Tagum branch at the second spot with 89.75%.

Last year, Gander Quilip, also from the Digos branch placed first with a rating of 88.40, and he is joined in the April 2017 CLE top placers by Joel Naya Quibol from the UM Tagum branch, who placed fourth with a rating of 87.90.

They were then joined in the December 2017 CLE by Ariel Camote Olnagan from the UM Main campus and Maria Rosalie Maglana from UM Tagum campus both got a score of 88.80%, placing both at the fifth spot.

UM also topped the April 2016 CLE through Jared John Francisco Adolfo from the Tagum branch who scored 88.15%.

For 2018, Franco and Langamon lead the 7, 307 examinees out of 21, 894 applicants who successfully passed the licensure examination.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission website, the June 2018 CLE was administered by PRC Board of Criminology headed by its Chairman, Hon. Ramil G. Gabao and its members, Hon. George O. Fernandez and Hon. Ruben A. Sta. Teresa last June 10-12, 2018 at PRC testing centers in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, General Santos City, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
