UMians cinch fifth spot in Dec. 2017 Criminologist Board Exam results

Two University of Mindanao graduates shared the fifth spot in the December  2017 Criminologist Licensure Examination, with results posted earlier in the week.

Ariel Camote Olnagan from the UM Main campus and Maria Rosalie Maglana from UM Tagum campus both got a score of 88.80%, securing for UM an overall passing rate of 65.54%, which significantly higher than the national passing rate of only 35.68%.

The Professional Regulation Commission through its website announced that 13,025 out of 36,516 passed the exam given by the Board of Criminology in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Cotabato, Davao, General Santos, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Occidental Mindoro, Pagadian, Palawan, Pangasinan, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

UM is proud of the consistency of its graduates in recent times in earning top spots in the national examinations, and notably, Gander Suello Quillip UM Digos campus topped the Criminologist Board Exam last June 2017 with a score of 88.40%.
