UM receives PACUCOA special citations

Special citations relating to the various achievements of students from the University of Mindanao in the past year were awarded by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA).

Foremost in the citations received was PACUCOA’s recognition of the university’s being granted the ISO 9001: 2015 certification, which is a testament to the continuing efforts of UM management and staff in assuring world-class standards are being met not just in facilities, but through the programs and curriculum as well.

UM was also cited for the stellar performance of its graduates in various national licensure examinations: special citation was received recognizing the March 2017 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), wherein UM student Marian Kaye Gallego placed first, then again in the September 2017 LET where Rhoy Omega topped the national exam.

Lastly, PACUCOA gave special citation for the Criminology Program in the June 2017 licensure examination where Gander Quillip earned the top spot.
