UM sends off outbound students for SY 2017- 2018

The University of Mindanao proudly sent off its fourth batch of outbound students to host schools in different countries under the AIMS and UMAP student exchange programs.

The twelve students come from the Colleges of Engineering, Business Administration Education, Arts and Sciences Education, and College of Teacher Education; and will be sent to partner schools in Thailand, Malaysia, and Taiwan for school year 2017- 2018.

The AIMS (ASEAN International Mobility for Students) is a flagship program of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization- Regional Institute of Higher Education and Development, and in UM; is only offered to students who are enrolled under the Engineering and International Business (Accountancy and International Business) programs.

 

UMAP (University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific) meanwhile, has a wider scope of courses catered in their scholarships.

The University is highly invested in creating avenues for students to broaden their education outside of what is familiar and comfortable, and is committed to further expanding the globalization of education in Mindanao.
